but but acting wise and musically, he's
a monster. When you say comedy, you're

He was on in Living Color when every

Wanda character I thought was hilarious.
U he I didn't he didn't seem to do much
outside of that
in terms of what comedy on in Living
Color. Yeah. Right. Like when you think
Jamie Fox on Living Color, that's what
stands out I think the most is the Wanda
character.
Listen, I actually like his standups.
Like his standups from like whatever
before. Like I've seen him really just
kind of kill it standup wise and him
being so uber talented he incorporates
singing and piano and all this happen.
If I had a choice to buy a comedy album
or a singing album, I'm buying a singing
album. No, I feel you. Yeah. Did you
watch his last standup? I didn't. I
started watching it. I just kind of
turned it off. Let me tell you.
Uh, first of all, my favorite movie of
his, one of my favorite movies period is
Ray. Ray is just
phenomenal. Um, but then I also loved
him in Collateral Damage, Any Given
Sunday. I think he's incredible as an
actor. Yeah. And I and I love him uh as
a as a musician. Uh, I think he's
actually Would you say he's the most
talented stand-up comedian ever? Because
there's also Eddie
Murphy. This is a hard one. You know,
this is a hard one because musically
Jamie's better. My base is in comedy, so
I got to give that to Eddie Murphy.
Yeah. Now, listen. I know Eddie has
dabbled in music. Yeah. But come on.
Party all the time. That's it. I was a
king with Michael Jackson and Put Your
Mouth on Me. Come on, man. I don't even
know these songs. You don't know them
songs? Wait. Eddie Murphy has a song

and I remember this song like a
Disney vignette.

and so forth. Yeah. Put your mouth on

Time wasn't jam. It was a joke. That was
like a a funny song. No. No. I don't
think it was a funny song. And that was
not taken seriously. I I feel that that
was Rick James when he was in his bag.
Like he was so good that he could give
Eddie Murphy a Listen, I'm a Eddie
Murphy who and I'm telling you right

Well, and listen, let me go back to
Jamie. Yeah, go ahead. one of the most
my favorite moment which I wasn't I I
didn't think the movie Ali was that
great but Jamie killed it as Bundini
Brown especially if you know who Boudini
Brown was. Uh but he says that one line
and the champ let me back in his life
cuz I know he loved me. He good people
now he know I got a problem with cocaine
and them white women now I can deal with
that cocaine but them white women god
damn it. And then he looks at the
reporter. How you deal with it boy? Oh
my god, that moment is
the way Jamie delivers that. And
again, if you know Bundini Brown, he
Jamie could have got an Oscar for that.
It was dead on. Dead on.
So, you say Eddie Murphy's more talented
overall? Comedically? Comedically. Cuz
when you look at what Eddie does when he
does those characters and Coming to
America, everybody tried doing that
after him. Even though if I'm being
honest, he really Richard Prior did it
first with what? Multiple characters.
What movies? I want to say Busting
Loose. Huh? Yeah. Okay. Yeah. You know
that Richard Prior started out as a
singer. Yeah. I saw a video. It was like
in black and white. Wasn't that good,
but it wasn't that bad. It wasn't that
bad. Yeah. Yeah. But it's so interesting
like seeing that I was like damn he was
really trying to figure it out. You
know, when he started comedy, he was
more so trying to pattern himself after
Bill
Cosby. Super clean. But uh that didn't
work out. Well, no it didn't. And the
and the famous story goes uh he was
doing a residency in in Vegas and then
one day it just hit him out of nowhere
like he had an epiphany. He just man he
just went, "Man, this." and walked
off stage and the next time he emerged
he was Richard Prior and I'm glad that
worked out that way. Yeah. Yeah. You
ever met him? No. Oh yeah, I did. I did.
Uh I think it was at a BET function and
uh you know he was he was uh in the the
the the wheelchair but like motorized
and move. Yeah. And I got a chance to
shake his hand and meet him. So yeah,
that was one of the highlights. I mean,
did he know who he was? Did he know who
I was? Did he know who you were? No, I
don't. No, no, no. I I I He was pretty
far gone by that time, but I I didn't
even do Mad TV yet. This was Yeah. Yeah.
