All my beatboxing lovers, listen. You
guys have been highly, highly requesting
this one. I've enjoyed and loved this
journey so far. So, right here, right
now, we got Beatella. This is K-pop
medley.
Black Pink in your area.
Hey,
come on. We know that intro.
shut it down.
Oh, switch it up. There's wings, too.
I mean, this is really just showing my
ignorance, but all this is just open up
my mind to a a new world, a new realm
with beatboxing. It's incredible like
just what your vocal cords are capable
of. Like the different levels of
instrumentation. Like when I think
beatbox and my ignorance, I'm just sad
thinking like percussive patterns,
right? Some bassier sounds maybe coming
from male vocalist. But the way these
boys are dropping in and just like
harmonizing like they're making sense
run. And you think about K-pop
production. Like there's so many varied
instrumentation to K-pop production.
It's one of my favorite parts of K-pop
is the production. And I spent a lot of
time talking about it. Just like the way
the different sounds, the different
genre bends and blends and switching and
everything happens. And you're just
getting a little bit of that right here.
Like you just have so many different
harmonic levels that are just coming in
right now. It just it I don't hear vocal
sounds. I hear instrumentation. That's
so dope
like that. What
that was made on a mixing board, man.
It's crazy.
A little snare roll there, too.
Play those hats, man.
La. One, two, three. Let's go.
the night away.
I talked about this when I did the wings
breakdown. That depth, just that build
like something is just sort of
underwater. It's down here. You feel it
rising rising. Just that control and
then all of a sudden it all just hits in
the foreground and you just get like
that full dopey atmas surround sound.
Just that control of depth is so dope.
2 away.
Yeah, it's so
it's
true. She's got a dope voice, too. What
was this transition? That was smooth.
You already
know. Hello. I cook cream soup. Taste
co. Want me your wife? But she
is. I clean your room. It's so twinkle
twinkle. Want me your wife?
is
super o
I just love love that little moment just
grabbing the camera and just flipping up
the camera angles just feels very raw.
And I've talked about this before like
even though we had that transition that
was an editing cut. I love the fluidity
of all this. still like feeling like in
the performative spirit of like more of
a one take performance just live
acoustic session with the microphones
and just making us feel like we're right
there and we're being given a show with
it all.
like a
mixing is pretty dope on this too right
now because just the little like the the
vocal clucks are just like bouncing like
they're a little bit down in terms of
depth and I just hear them like pan like
just a slight pan on them so they just
kind of just add to that fullness of the
atmosphere.
Oh hey.
Oh, I know this
one.
Hey, come on.
Come on, Lisa.
That That is so dope.
when I buy the things I like

baby laa can you teach me Japanese I
said that's my life baby I'm a rockar
Baby got them all going.
Yeah, the dude on the left with the
blonde hair.
What he is doing right now, right? And
just that I I don't know what the exact
instrument is, but it's it's got like
it's like a traditional Korean string
instrument. Is it? I don't know. It's
like a pluckucky string. And just what
he's doing right now.
Wow.
I'm
a I'm a

food. You know what I mean? My back.
Baby, you ain't

maniac. Maniac
maniac. Maniac maniac. Maniac. Maniac
Frankenstein. What is Wink doing right
now? Just that demonic ro robotic voice.
That's what
it's like D punk meets the devil.
Wow.
That's a dope register and
range. Maniac. Maniac.
She's very casually showing off her
versatility, too.
Now you know my name.
I like this one.
You heard that? They're anti fragile
just bouncing side to side.
Except I think one
I think it went on the right anti and
then on the far left he did the fragile
to call back and then to get that
panel like this.
What a smooth transition.
You know it's like the cools, right? And
we always talk about complimentary
colors. Did you go with the blues, the
cool blues, and then all of a sudden you
switch to some of the warmer like the
oranges and the reds and this little
transition just was matched up
perfectly. Camera knew to come in and
right there as it changes right and you
switch who the vocal performer is.
Notice how the lights change, the color
changes, the beat kind of changes a
little.
That's smooth, man. Just again, just the
syncopation of all that. Like it's one
thing having a beatboxer on their own
doing all this, but the fact that you
got four of them syncing with each
other, right? And each of them playing
different instrumentation, having
different timings, different moments,
just coming together, like harmonizing
in this way. Wow.
Love me like that. Love me like this.
Love me like that. Love me like this.
And I love you right back. Love me like
this. Love me like that. Love me like
this. Love me like that. Love me like
this. Love me like that. Love me like
this. And I love it.
That might be my favorite transition.
Hey
BTS like breaking into your
heart. Yeah. I owe it all to my mother.
Pop like summer. Yeah. I'm swe
I love how some of his mannerisms like
it's like he is playing a drum kit.
That's so dope right there, man.
Oh, that feels
good. I love you.
I love you,
man. That's
crazy. Oh, we got all the songs. Yeah, I
knew Shutdown twice. I've done Twice
before. G Idol. I've done I've not heard
that specific G Idol song. I've done
Ace. I've done a lot of these.
Obviously, I knew the
Lisas. The Baby Monster. That's
right. That's so dope, man.
clever idea just to take like popular
hits and just almost to kind of like
reinvent them and reinvigorate them and
just really show off the versatility and
help people to appreciate what goes into
beatboxing because I think it's one
thing to take like a popular sound like
that and then to be able to make that
happen with your vocal cords because
everybody's going to recognize that
sound, right? So, they're going to judge
it very differently. Whereas, if you're
just making noises and like
instrumentation that people don't
understand, sure, they'll appreciate the
talent, but I think it hits differently
when you can hear that from the vocal
cords and recognize what that song is
and recognize that sound and be like,
"Yo, that that's just like that beat.
That's crazy." And that to me just adds
to the element of difficulty, but
obviously a bigger payoff once people
hear it and they appreciate it and they
make that connection. I really enjoyed
that. I'm enjoying beatboxing. If you
