Hey, shout out to Megan Stadium.
Sorry about that little rough patch we
had to go
through. All right. Just sitting in my
new
PL and I know they hate to see
it, but it is what it is. I'm about to
go hang my up in my new
studio.
Yo yo yo. This is Lee Levon and as
always I'm here rocking with All Urban
Central and just now I had to play a
clip of Crawl Crawford. Obviously if you
don't know him he's the owner of 1501
record label which is the original
record label that Megan the Stallion was
not only discovered on but she started
with Megan Estallion did sign initially
with 1501 where she debuted her first
single Big Old Freak which made her go
viral.
And 1501 also invested in her earlier
projects in her different mixtapz. So
obviously when she decided to leave 1501
record label under the advisement of her
management team Rock Nation, she did
kind of paint Carl Corford as a villain.
Um she said that the deal she was in,
she was young and they were getting a
majority of the royalties for her music.
And obviously when she had to drop her
album Sugar, they had the rights to her
music. So she blamed the delay on the
album on Carl Crawford and his record
label. Let's just say they didn't have
the best relationship. And when she did
have the ability to discuss her record
deal with them, it wasn't pretty much in
a good picture. So, they did finally
settle um their deal and a settlement,
but you know, there has been a little
bit of haziness, especially with all of
Carl Crawford's reputation. You know, he
he definitely took this moment to show
off his plaques and also show off all
his hard work that he invested in. So,
this was a really good clip to show.
Obviously, he is receiving plaques and
we're happy to see it. you know, Carl
Crawford and Megan the Stallion, they
were probably not in the deal that best
benefited her, but it definitely started
her somewhere and obviously he
definitely had an idea when he put her
on the label because she was probably
his biggest artist that he has had on
1501 record label to date. In addition
to the clip, Carl Crawford did leave a
candid message in regards to Megan. He
says, "Shout out to Megan the Stallion.
We had a little rough patch, which
obviously he's referring to the legal
dispute that they had, but real ones
always pushed through and got my new
plaques. It's a blessing to keep growing
and keep building. So, I think that just
reminded him of how much work and
everything he invested in coming back to
him. And we're really happy to see the
success of both Paul Crawford as well as
Megan Estal. But, as I said before,
things did get really messy between the
two. in several interviews, them both
disagreeing and obviously putting out
how they feel about each other during
the legal dispute in Megan's earlier
projects. End of the day, like I said, I
want to be treated like a person, not a
slave, right? I'm a human, too. So,
let's let's treat everybody real equal.
They say, "Oh, she a new artist. You a
new label." So, let's let's both be
fair. Yeah. Like, I mean, I'm just
asking real Well, in my case,
she's a liar. You know what I'm saying?
Because like I said, all the stuff they
said about me, bro, I didn't even I
could tell you like up to the point
where she h we supposed to split up and
had a problem. The crazy part is I never
knew we had a problem. That's the pro.
You see, that's how how much of a of a a
sneak attack it was to me all the way up
to, you know, the we supposed to split
weight. I never knew we had a problem.
You know, I've I've never told Megan no
ever. You know what I'm saying? like and
to be honest, we definitely have to
attribute Megan Estallion's initial
success to Carl Crawford and his record
label 1501. After she debuted Big Old
Freak, she went viral. And Carl
Crawford, if you guys do not know who he
is, he obviously is a music mogul and
obviously the owner of 1501 record
label, but he's actually been a
millionaire and successful in his own
right prior to joining the music
industry. Carl Crawford is also famously
known as an MLB player. He made millions
and a name for himself successfully and
respectfully hitting home runs. So, it's
no wonder he was able to do the same in
the music industry.
And a line drive, base hit into left.
That'll be charged by Reed from the
league. And runs banned in. There goes
Crawford. The pitch is a
ball. Long drive hit high and deep to
right off the bat of Crawford. And that
baby's
gone.
Overall, we love seeing that Megan the
Stallion and Call Crawford can kind of
get through that rough patch. I'm not
really sure how Megan the Stallion is
feeling towards Carl Crawford. Um,
obviously in her earlier interviews and
the way she depicted the relationship
and the dynamic between her and the
record label, she felt a little
manipulated and obviously taken
advantage of. But it seems like Carl
Crawford has made it through obviously
what it seemed is like a bad storm of
media and press which could have damaged
his reputation and future in the music
industry. So, we're just happy to see
that he obviously gained all of his
returns on his investments, and we hope
to see more of a good dynamic between
both him and Megan. But, as always, we
have to ask, what do you think?
