Well, it's 2025, almost mid year, and
I'm excited to show you the brand new
Keys model called the Kyber. There's a
lot of new features, so sit tight and we
are going to go over this model together
and show you what makes it so
special.
Heat. Heat.
The most unique feature for this brand
new model is the thickness of the body
or lack thereof. The idea was to give
the player the ability to get a really
lightweight guitar without having to do
chambering or lightweight body woods to
be able to get an alder body, which is a
standard wood, and a maple neck with a
headstock coming in right around the six
pound or under range. See how beautiful
this is? is I'm going to show off the
side. And you can just see how thin this
gets with the deep body contour, the
very aggressive arm bend
here, the unique location of the output
jack, and then the neck heel on the
back. It's amazing how thin these guys
get
down. And just the playability and
access is second to none. They really
feel like a neck through even though
they're a
bolt-on. The strap buttons are on the
rear of the guitar, giving it a super
clean look from the
front. And the balance is amazing. We
spent a lot of time playing with the
actual locations to get the balance just
right and perfect. If you haven't
noticed, look at that new headstock.
So, the headstock is lighter than our
standard headstock. This is going to
feature locking tuners standard 25 and a
half inch scale. You're going to have a
three-way toggle with a pushpull coil
split, two humbucking pickups available
with a fixed bridge, a trim, multi-cale
or multi-cale trim. Um, both six and
seven string configurations. Because our
custom shop offers so many
customizations, you can go mild to wild
on this. This one features a master
grade flame roasted neck and fretboard
and matching back plates. It's a very
lightweight. This also features a custom
trim block that is thinned down and is
lighter in weight. A cool feature of
this model is when you're done playing,
if you want to set it down on the
ground, you can easily do so just by
resting the body on the ground and it's
going to lean at somewhat of an angle,
but it's safe and secure. It's not going
to tip over. As you can see on this one,
we even have the optional bevel added to
it just to give that extra little bit of
sleekness and a little more aggressive
look. With the added bevel, it makes the
horns look a little thinner and gives it
a more aggressive look. Another great
feature about this model, because it is
so thin, you can get upgraded body woods
like black limba. And although black
limba does add some weight, it's not
going to add as much weight because the
body is thinned down. One of the
concepts of this new model was to get
you guys the ability to have a guitar
that sits well in classical position. So
removing the body material here just
allows the guitar to just sit in your
lap just right for classical playing. So
many of you guys are playing classically
that this guitar is just going to be
