This time, during this Shanghai tour of China,

There was one of the biggest surprises in the history of my guitar career, so I'd like to tell you a little bit about that.

I would like to briefly explain what happened.

I was interviewed by a TV show,

As a guitarist who is now paying attention to a certain guitarist,

To my surprise, they said that they would be interviewed because my name was mentioned

That's why I connected Zoom, and I was interviewed earlier.

After the interview was over, I was a little upset and had no idea what had happened.

After about 30 minutes, I started to calm down a little.

At this stage, where I am still a little excited, I want to capture my honest and naked impressions on camera.

I hurriedly turned the video.

In conclusion, the guitarist is now,

It was an overseas guitarist who was visiting Japan. "His name was revealed during the interview.

I was like, "Oh my gosh."

I thought it would be awkward if I didn't know that.

I listen to so much music,

I'm not familiar with guitarists all over the world, so I'm like, "I'm worried."

While I was thinking about it, I was interviewed, and I had a lot of chats and introduced myself.

After receiving it,

That guitarist is Eric Clapton.

I had no idea what had happened.

I was surprised that my mind really went blank.

As the director said,

Clapton seems to be checking out various guitarists from all over the world on SNS

That's true.

So I happened to be in Japan.

I was asked who is paying attention to in Japan right now.

At that time, my name just happened to come up, and there were probably many other guitarists in Japan.

I think it's checked, but even so, the name comes up there.

Above all, Clapton himself may only be able to watch a few seconds of my video.

This is exactly what it means to be overwhelmed by the fact that you may have seen it.

You never know what's going to happen in life, and I'm glad I was playing the guitar.

During the encore at the Cotton Club,

I mentioned,

'I’m glad I played the guitar.

' It’s interesting because I started playing guitar often when I was in middle school,

and at that time,

I didn’t have a specific favorite artist.

So my father gave me a Clapton CD, and at first I thought he was kind of reluctant.

I was listening, but as I listened,

I'm starting to think it's kind of cool, Clapton's "Cocaine"

There is a song called that.

I remembered how I used to think that playing the E minor pentatonic scale over this cocaine riff would sound great.

So,

I called up my friends and had them play the riff endlessly while I just focused on my minor pentatonic scale.

This was something I did back in the spring at the end of my third year of middle school,

and that memory came rushing back to me.

To think that Clapton would mention my name is such an incredible honor and a rare stroke of luck in my guitar journey.

It made me start to contemplate what my motivation should be going forward.

I really felt like I'd had a revelation,

so I decided that from today,

I want to stand at this new starting point at the Crossroads Guitar Festival that Clapton is hosting,

and I absolutely want to be there.

I know that this event is not an easy stage to set up.

That's why I have no choice but to continue to do my last music with the best friends, and someday I will ask Clapton to do my

Plays and songs and sounds that you won't be embarrassed to see when the video is seen somewhere,

I wanted to play there.
