Hey everyone, it's Dreameira. Today I'm
hanging out here with my friends at
Fender and I'm going to show you how to
get the most out of your guitar and bass
tones in Fender Studio. Fender Studio
comes packed with authentic Fender tone
thanks to the amazing Mustang and Rumble
series of amps and effects. Let's start
by recording a quick riff.
Designed to emulate the sound of a tube
amp pushed to its limit, overdrive gives
you a warm crunch, perfect for blues and
classic rock. Let's hear that riff with
and without overdrive.
Sign chorus alters the pitch of your
guitar and adds a thick lushness to your
sound.
So, as you can hear there, chorus can
get pretty weird, which actually sounds
really cool. But in its more subtle
implementation, you hear that it adds
that nice stereo widening to the sound
by creating a slight alteration in the
pitch. and it adds a really nice
glimmering effect, especially to clean
and edge of breakup guitar tones. Mono
delay takes a quick snippet of your
sound and plays it back, creating an
echo
effect. And small room reverb emulates
the sound of an instrument in a cozy
little room.
Now, what I recommend doing when setting
a reverb is to turn it all the way up
and then dial it back to find the sweet
spot where you like the way it sounds
with your guitar. We want to hear what
the effect is doing and then dial it
back to taste. So, let me show you that
now.
Now, these effects sound great, but by
registering your Fender Studio app with
your Fender Connect account, you can
access even more amps and pedals. And
there's something for basis, too. A
faithful recreation of Fender's
legendary Rumble 800 amp.
Now, let's hear that overdrive.
Intuitive track presets make it easy to
experiment with classic Fender sounds.
And when you're ready to go deeper, you
can open Fender Studios editing,
instrument effects, and mixer views. To
start sculpting tones from scratch,
select new from the home screen. Then
select guitar or bass and hit
okay. This will automatically populate a
new guitar or bass track. From there,
you can double tap on your guitar or
bass, hit
effects, tap the window, and then add
the pedals you want using the plus signs
on either side of the amp. You'll notice
you can add pedals either before or
after the amp model. What that means is
that you can have effects that only are
applied after the preamp and post amp
processing from the amp and effects that
come before. Typically, we want to put
distortion, overdrive, or other dynamic
effects before the amp, and then
timebased and modulation effects like
delay, reverb, or chorus after. Lots of
possible combinations. So, go crazy,
have fun, and experiment with new
sounds. Fender Studio is available now
from all major app stores, and you can
learn more at fender.com. Thanks for
watching, and I'll see you soon.
