Hey, it's Chloe and I've just released
my debut album, Shiny New Thing. And
here are some things you may or may not
know about
me. My hometown is Sydney, Australia. I
grew up there and when I finished high
school, I started to do trips over to LA
and back and I'd spend a couple months
in LA, come back to Sydney, and then 3
years ago, I finally made the move. Um,
my fiance and I moved to Los Angeles and
that is now where we live. I am a Virgo
Libra cusp 23rd of September. But I feel
like I'm a Virgo through and through,
but I do have some indecisive tendencies
which I think is the Libra. My first
concert was Hillary Duff. Um, Hillary
Duff came to Sydney and played in an
arena and I remember watching her being
like, damn, that's I want to be her.
My favorite movie would have to be
Beautiful Boy, I think, starring Steve
Carell and Timothy Shalomé. It's also
like the most gut-wrenching,
heartbreaking movie, but feel like it
does a beautiful job at exploring
addiction and the impact it has on
family members. I worked at my dad's
pharmacy probably for about 8 years. My
whole family's in pharmacy and so for a
while I thought maybe that was going to
be my path but then I kind of just used
it as a place where I could go earn
money and then go to LA, work, go back,
earn money and keep doing that. My
biggest pet peeve is bullying. I just
remember being really young and seeing
kids being bullied at school and it
really riing me up. I don't know if it's
a pet peeve or just something that I'm
very passionate about
eradicating. My current obsession I
think would be an artist by the name of
Chapel Rome. I am so obsessed with her.
She's been at it for like 10 years and
that to me is very inspiring as someone
who's been in the industry. I love the
way that she dives into her character as
Chapelon. It's so impressive and her
outfits and her makeup and how she uses
that. My dream collab would probably be
Banks. I love both of those artists.
They have inspired me greatly throughout
my career. Um, I love their production.
I think sonically they kind of like
changed the game with pop and like let
it in a darker, more edgier direction,
which I really connect with. To be
honest, I'm not much of a road tripper.
I'm more of a get on a plane and go. I
hate being in the car. I mean, I love I
love drives to the beach. And my
favorite travel snack in Australia
called LCMs. I don't know what they're
called here, but they're just like rice
krispies and like just a slab. That's
probably my like go-to stop along the
way, like a Starbucks or something.
